A busy park in the summer, because it has access to the lake. There is also walking path and kids play equipment. However, a lot of the beach is pebbles so not ideal for bare feet. You are about a block away from several restaurants for lunch though

We enjoyed our time at this recreation area (we were there mostly for the beach). There is a ton of parking, and a massive playground where our kids spent a lot of time. Honestly the only reason that I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that it feels more exposed and less intimate than Kinsmen beach, nearby. It's still a great recreation area. Same comment as my Kinsmen beach review, people don't seem to show up too early, so if you're there by noon you're getting a great parking spot (my observation).

Beautiful little park. The children enjoy the beach slot. Great place for playing along the shore, okay place for swimming ( rocky shore, short beach). Great play park suitable for up to 12 y/o. Volleyball court is OK, there are bathrooms, and a connection to a very short nature trail. Parking is big and easy to access.

We stopped here on our way through the area. It was a nice break and a good place for the kids to run around. It has a picnic area on the lake and a great little playground.

Great beach and was very shallow for a great distance. Great for kids to walk around without entering deep water. I would definetly come back for another visit. Unfortunately it is not dog friendly.
